Service/Warranty

The warranty period is 3 years and commences on the date of purchase. It covers any defects and malfunctions that should arise through normal use during the warranty period. The warranty applies to products that are purchased and used in Europe. This warranty is subject to German law, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

It is essential that you retain the sales receipt as proof of the purchase date.

In the event of a warranty claim, you shall not incur any costs associated with rendering compensatory services. The type of compensatory service rendered (rectification of defects, exchange, or refund of the purchase price) shall be at our discretion.

This warranty shall become void in the event of damage, alterations or inappropriate use of the device, provided this happens outside the warrantor's area of responsibility. This shall particularly apply in the following cases:

  • Access to the device by unauthorised persons.
  • Changes on or inside the device; removal or defacing of the serial number; removal or alteration of the device seal.
  • Damage that is the result of knocks, falls or external impacts.
  • Damage that is the result of improper handling or misuse.
  • Damage that is the result of external causes such as overvoltage or lightning strikes.
  • Use of the device for commercial purposes.

This warranty does not affect your legal rights in the event of a device defect (subsequent delivery, cancellation, price reduction, damage compensation).

Please retain the original packaging should any compensatory services need to be rendered. Replacement components are generally subject to the remaining warranty period for the device.
